3. Setup

3.1 Powering the Main Unit

  1. Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit, observing correct polarity.
  2. Alternatively, connect the provided US Plug 120V power adapter to the main unit's power input and plug it into a standard wall outlet.

3.2 Powering the Wireless Transmitter

  1. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the wireless transmitter, observing correct polarity.

3.3 Placement

  • Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors on a flat surface or mount it on a wall. Ensure it is away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong electromagnetic fields.
  • Wireless Transmitter: Place the transmitter outdoors in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight. Ensure it is within the wireless range of the main unit (typically up to 3 external sensors are supported).

3.4 Initial Synchronization

Once both units are powered, the main unit will automatically attempt to connect with the wireless transmitter. This may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are relatively close during initial setup. If connection is not established, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

4.1 Display Overview

The color display provides the following information:

  • Weather Forecast: Icons indicating predicted weather conditions.
  • Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Readings from the wireless transmitter.
  • Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Readings from the main unit's internal sensors.
  • Time & Date: Current time and day of the week.

4.2 Button Functions

The main unit features several buttons for control:

  • SET: Enters settings mode or confirms selections.
  • UP / DOWN: Adjusts values in settings mode or cycles through display options.
  • LIGHT: Manually adjusts backlight brightness.
  • SNOOZE: Activates snooze function when alarm sounds.
  • ALARM: Activates/deactivates the alarm or enters alarm setting mode.

4.3 Setting Time and Date

  1. Press and hold the SET button to enter time setting mode.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
  3. Press SET again to confirm the value and move to the next setting.
  4. Repeat until all time and date settings are complete.

4.4 Setting the Alarm Clock
