1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your VTimes VT31-2 Baby Monitor system. This system includes a parent unit with a 2.4-inch LCD screen and two camera units, designed to provide secure, non-Wi-Fi monitoring of your baby, elderly family members, or pets.

3. Product Overview

The VTimes VT31-2 system provides real-time audio and video monitoring. The parent unit features a 2.4-inch LCD screen for viewing, while the camera units capture the environment. The system operates on 2.4GHz FHSS technology, ensuring a private and secure connection without requiring Wi-Fi or app pairing.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1. Charging the Parent Unit

Before initial use, fully charge the parent unit. Connect one power adapter to the parent unit and plug it into a power outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate. A full charge typically takes several hours.

4.2. Positioning the Camera Unit(s)

Place the camera unit(s) in a location that provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. Ensure the camera is at a safe distance from the monitored individual and out of reach. The camera units can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall using the provided wall-mounting kit. Connect each camera unit to a power adapter and plug it into a power outlet.

4.3. Powering On the System

  1. Ensure both camera units are powered on and connected to their respective power adapters.
  2. Press and hold the power button on the parent unit until the screen illuminates.
  3. The parent unit will automatically search for and connect to the camera units. Once connected, video and audio will be displayed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Monitoring

Once powered on, the parent unit displays live video from the connected camera. You can hear audio from the camera's location. Use the navigation buttons on the parent unit to adjust settings or switch between cameras if multiple are connected.

5.2. VOX Mode (ECO Mode)

VOX mode conserves battery by turning off the parent unit's screen when no sound is detected from the camera unit. The screen will automatically reactivate when sound is detected, such as a baby crying.

5.3. Night Vision

The camera units are equipped with automatic infrared night vision. In low-light conditions, the system will automatically switch to night vision mode, providing a clear black-and-white image of the monitored area.

5.4. Pan, Tilt, and Zoom

The camera units offer a wide viewing angle with pan and tilt capabilities (360° pan, 120° tilt) and a 2X digital zoom function. Use the navigation buttons on the parent unit to adjust the camera's view and zoom level.

5.5. Alarm Setting (Feeding Timer)

The parent unit includes an alarm function, useful for setting reminders such as feeding times. You can set alarms for intervals like 2, 4, or 6 hours.

5.6. Language Settings

The parent unit supports multiple languages. Navigate through the menu to select your preferred language from the available options.

5.7. Connecting Multiple Cameras

The system supports connecting up to four camera units. The parent unit can cycle through the views of connected cameras automatically or manually.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

To clean the monitor and camera units, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the devices are powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
