Setup
Battery Installation
The thermometer/hygrometer requires 2 AAA Alkaline batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Placement
The device can be placed on any flat surface using its integrated kickstand or mounted on a wall. For accurate readings, consider the following:
- Avoid mounting the unit in direct sunlight.
- Do not place it near a heat source (e.g., radiator, vent).
- Keep it away from large bodies of water, as these can affect air temperature and humidity readings.

Operating Instructions
Reading the Display
The dual display shows humidity on the left and temperature on the right. Both sections include current readings, as well as maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) recorded values since the last reset.

Switching Temperature Units (Fahrenheit/Celsius)
To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), locate the °F/°C button on the unit and press it. The display will update to the selected unit.
Resetting Min/Max Readings
The device automatically records the highest (MAX) and lowest (MIN) temperature and humidity values. To reset these recorded values, press the "RESET" button. The Min/Max readings will clear and begin recording new extremes from that point.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the thermometer/hygrometer, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or inaccurate, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
Troubleshooting
- No Display or Dim Display: Check battery polarity. Replace batteries if they are low or depleted.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the unit is not in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or a large body of water. These factors can significantly affect the accuracy of temperature and humidity measurements. Allow the unit to stabilize in its intended environment for at least 30 minutes after placement or battery change.
- Readings Not Changing: If readings appear stuck, try resetting the unit by removing and reinserting the batteries.
