3.2 Assembly

1. Carefully unpack all components.
2. Connect the ground stake sections together. The stake typically consists of two or three interlocking pieces.

3.4 Initial Charging

For best performance, it is recommended to fully charge the unit before its first use. You can do this by:

• Placing the unit in direct sunlight for at least 8 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Sensitivity Adjustment (Left Dial)

This dial controls the detection range of the PIR motion sensor. Turn the dial clockwise to increase sensitivity (longer detection range) and counter-clockwise to decrease sensitivity (shorter detection range). Adjust as needed for your specific area.

4.2 Frequency/Mode Adjustment (Right Dial)

This dial allows you to select different operating modes, each designed to target specific animals. Rotate the dial to choose from the following settings:

• Mode 0: OFF. The unit is turned off.
• Mode 1: 13.5kHz - 20kHz. Primarily repels animals such as rats, mice, dogs, foxes, martens, etc.
• Mode 2: 15kHz - 25kHz. Primarily repels animals such as cats, raccoons, badgers, skunks, etc.
• Mode 3: 25kHz - 34.5kHz. Primarily repels animals such as birds, bats, rodents, etc.
• Mode 4: Strong LED Strobe Light & Alarm. This mode activates a powerful LED strobe light and an audible alarm sound, effective against larger wild animals like deer, boars, and bears.
• Mode 5: All Functions Combined. This mode cycles through all frequencies (Modes 1, 2, 3) and activates the strong LED strobe light and alarm (Mode 4) for comprehensive deterrence against a wide range of animals. This is often the most effective setting for general pest control.

4.3 Operation

Once the desired mode and sensitivity are set, the unit will automatically activate when an animal enters its detection range. The ultrasonic sound, LED light, and/or alarm will emit for a short period, then reset, waiting for the next detection. This intermittent operation helps conserve battery life and prevents animals from becoming accustomed to the deterrent.

• Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel and the motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean solar panel ensures efficient charging. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Obstruction Check: Regularly check that no plants, leaves, or other objects are blocking the solar panel or the motion sensor.
