3. Setup and Assembly

Your AOSTIRMOTOR S07-B electric bike comes 95% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly. It is recommended to have assistance due to the bike's weight.

3.1 Unboxing and Preparation

  1. Carefully cut the straps securing the box.
  2. Open the box and remove the accessory box (containing the fender and tools).
  3. Remove all styrofoam and plastic wrapping from the bike. Recycle packaging materials according to local standards.

3.2 Handlebar Installation

  1. Using the provided Allen key from your toolkit, remove the clamp from the handlebar stem.
  2. Place the handlebars onto the stem, ensuring they are centered.
  3. Re-attach the clamp and tighten the screws securely to prevent movement.

3.3 Front Wheel Installation

  1. Carefully flip the bike upside down, resting it on the seat and handlebars.
  2. Remove the protective plastic cover from the front wheel's disc brake.
  3. Using a wrench, remove the nuts and washers from both sides of the front wheel axle. Keep these safe.
  4. Lift the front wheel and align the disc brake into the caliper on the fork.
  5. Slide the axle through the forks, ensuring proper alignment.
  6. Re-attach the washers and nuts to both sides of the axle. Tighten them securely with your fingers first, then use the wrench to fully tighten, ensuring the wheel is firmly in place and does not wobble.
  7. Flip the bike right side up.

3.4 Front Fender Installation

  1. Remove the light from its mounting point on the front fork.
  2. Feed the front fender through the fork, aligning its mounting hole with the hole on the fork.
  3. Insert the bolt through the fender and fork, then re-attach the light to secure the fender.
  4. Tighten the bolt with the Allen key, adjusting the fender's position so it does not rub against the tire.

3.5 Pedal Installation

Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The right pedal (R) is installed on the side with the chain, and the left pedal (L) is on the opposite side.

  1. Take the right pedal (marked 'R') and insert it into the crank arm on the chain side.
  2. Use a wrench to tighten the pedal securely. Note that the right pedal tightens clockwise.
  3. Take the left pedal (marked 'L') and insert it into the crank arm on the non-chain side.
  4. Use a wrench to tighten the pedal securely. Note that the left pedal tightens counter-clockwise.

4. Operating the Electric Bike

4.1 Charging the Battery

The 48V 13AH lithium battery is removable for convenient charging at home or office. Connect the charger to the battery and a power outlet. A full charge typically takes 4-6 hours. Ensure the battery is securely locked to the frame before riding.
