1. Product Overview

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Initial Use (No Programming Required for Primary Functions)

For controlling compatible Humax Tivumax and DIGIMAX devices, this remote control is designed to work immediately without any programming. Simply insert the batteries and point the remote towards your device.

2.3 Programming TV Control Buttons (Optional)

1. On the VINABTY remote, in the TV CONTROL section, press and hold the SET button for approximately 3 seconds. The red LED indicator on the remote will increase in intensity.
2. While still in the TV CONTROL section, press the specific button you wish to program (e.g., VOL+). The red LED will now flash.
3. Position the VINABTY remote control directly in front of your original TV remote control, with their infrared emitters facing each other, at a distance of about 3 cm (1.2 inches).
4. On your original TV remote control, press and hold the corresponding button (e.g., VOL+) until the red LED on the VINABTY remote control remains steady. This indicates successful learning.
5. Press the SET button on the VINABTY remote control to save the programmed function.
6. Repeat these steps for each TV control button you wish to program.

Note: Ensure a clear line of sight between the two remotes during programming. Some TV remotes may require a longer press of the button during the learning process.

3. Operating Instructions
