The SYLVOX 22-inch Marine Series 12 Volt Smart Television with built-in DVD player is engineered for durability and performance in challenging environments. Its robust construction, including triple-protected circuit boards, makes it suitable for long-term use in marine settings, RVs, campers, and coastal homes. This smart TV integrates the Google TV system, providing extensive entertainment options and seamless connectivity.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the TV and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the original packaging for future transport or service needs.
2. Attaching the Base (Optional): If not wall-mounting, attach the provided base to the bottom of the TV using the included screws. Ensure it is securely fastened for stability.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the AC adapter, then plug the adapter into the TV's power input. Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable 100-240V AC outlet or use the car charger cord for 12V DC power sources (DC 9-32V).
4. Connecting External Devices:
   • HDMI Devices: Connect your streaming devices, gaming consoles (PlayStation, Xbox), or other HDMI-enabled equipment to one of the two HDMI ports on the TV.
   • USB Devices: Insert USB drives for media playback into one of the two USB ports.
   • Antenna/Cable: Connect an antenna or cable TV source to the RF port for access to over-the-air or cable channels via the built-in ATSC/NTSC tuner.
5. Initial Setup: Power on the TV. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and sign in to your Google account to access Google TV features.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the remote control or the TV's control panel to turn the TV on or off.
2. Navigating Google TV: Use the directional buttons on the remote to navigate through the Google TV interface. Access apps, movies, shows, and live TV from the home screen.
3. Using Google Assistant: Press the Google Assistant button on your remote and speak into the microphone to search for content, control smart home devices, or get information.
4. Chromecast Built-in: Cast content directly from your compatible smartphone, tablet, or computer to the TV using the built-in Chromecast feature.
5. Playing DVDs: Insert a DVD disc into the integrated DVD player slot on the side of the TV. The TV will automatically switch to the DVD input or prompt you to select it.
6. Using the Built-in TV Tuner: Select the "Live TV" option from the home screen to access channels received via the connected antenna or cable. Perform a channel scan during initial setup or if you move to a new location.
7. Accessing Apps: Browse and download thousands of apps from the Google Play Store directly on your TV.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Cleaning the Body: Wipe the TV's exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
• Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the back of the TV are not blocked to prevent overheating.
• Marine Environment Care: Although the circuit boards are triple-protected (moisture-resistant, corrosion-resistant, salt spray-resistant), regular cleaning and ensuring the TV is not exposed to direct water spray will prolong its lifespan in marine or coastal environments.

Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check if the power cord is securely connected to the TV and the power outlet. Ensure the outlet is functioning.
• No Picture/Sound: Verify that the correct input source is selected. Check all cable connections (HDMI, RF) for looseness or damage.
• No Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure your Wi-Fi router is on and within range. Try restarting both the TV and the router.
• DVD Playback Issues: Ensure the DVD disc is clean and free of scratches. Try a different disc to confirm the issue is not with the media.
• Remote Control Not Working: Check the batteries in the remote control and replace them if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's IR sensor.
