3. Setup

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to perform a blood glucose test:

1. Prepare the Meter: Insert a new sinocare Safe-Accu2 test strip into the test strip port of your sinocare Safe-Accu2 meter. The meter will automatically turn on.
2. Prepare the Lancet Device: Load a new, sterile lancet into your lancing device according to the lancing device's instructions.
3. Obtain Blood Sample: Clean the chosen finger with an alcohol swab (if desired) and allow it to air dry. Use the lancing device to prick the side of your fingertip to obtain a small drop of blood. A blood sample of 0.6 microliters is required.
4. Apply Blood to Test Strip: Gently touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The strip will automatically draw the blood into the reaction area. Do not smear the blood.
5. Read Results: The meter will display your blood glucose result in approximately 5 seconds.
6. Dispose Safely: Immediately dispose of the used test strip and lancet in a suitable sharps container or according to local regulations. Lancets are for single use only.
