Setup
1. Power Connection
- Unpack the unit and place it on a stable, flat surface.
- Plug the power adapter into the DC IN jack located on the back of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard AC wall outlet (120V AC, 60Hz).
- The unit will automatically set the correct year, month, date, and time using Emerson's SmartSet technology.
2. Battery Backup (Optional)
For backup power during outages, you can install AAA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting Time and Date (Manual Adjustment)
While the SmartSet feature automatically sets the time, you can manually adjust it if needed.
- Press and hold the CLOCK SET button (usually located on the bottom or back) until the display flashes.
- Use the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons to adjust the hour. Press CLOCK SET to confirm.
- Repeat for minutes, year, month, and date.
- Press CLOCK SET again to exit time setting mode.
2. Setting Alarms
The unit features two independent alarms (AL1 and AL2).
- Press and hold the AL1 or AL2 button until the alarm time flashes.
- Use the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons to adjust the alarm hour. Press the respective alarm button (AL1 or AL2) to confirm.
- Repeat for alarm minutes.
- Select the alarm source (Buzzer or FM Radio) using TUNE+ or TUNE-. Confirm with the alarm button.
- Select the alarm mode (Every Day, Weekdays Only, Weekends Only). Confirm with the alarm button.
- The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating it is set.
To turn off a sounding alarm, press the POWER button. To activate snooze, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button.

3. FM Radio Operation
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the BAND button to select FM radio.
- Use the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons to manually tune to a station. Press and hold for auto-scan.
- To save a preset: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold the FM MEM / STO button until the preset number flashes. Use TUNE+ or TUNE- to select a preset number (1-20), then press FM MEM / STO again to save.
- To recall a preset: Briefly press the FM MEM / STO button repeatedly to cycle through saved stations.
- Adjust volume using the VOL+ or VOL- buttons.
4. NOAA Weather Band Operation
The unit can receive NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts for critical weather alerts.
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the BAND button to select Weather Band (NOAA). The display will show the NOAA frequency.
- The unit will automatically scan for the strongest NOAA signal.
- When a weather alert is broadcast, the unit will automatically switch to the NOAA band and sound an alert tone.

5. Wireless Charging
