5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the radio.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The radio will power on or enter standby mode.

5.2 Antenna

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal FM and DAB reception. Adjust its position to improve signal strength if needed.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the Rotary Knob / ENTER button briefly to turn the radio on or off (standby mode).

6.2 Mode Selection

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: DAB Radio, FM Radio, and Auxiliary Input.

6.3 DAB Radio Operation

  1. Initial Scan: The first time you use DAB mode, the radio will automatically perform a full scan for available stations. This may take a few minutes.
  2. Station Selection: Once the scan is complete, rotate the Rotary Knob to browse through the list of available DAB stations. Press the Rotary Knob / ENTER button to select a station.
  3. Manual Scan: To perform a manual scan, press the MENU/INFO button, navigate to "Scan" or "Full Scan" using the Rotary Knob, and press ENTER.
  4. Saving Presets: Tune to your desired DAB station. Press and hold the PRESET button until "Preset Store" appears on the display. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select a preset number (1-5), then press ENTER to save.
  5. Recalling Presets: Briefly press the PRESET button. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select the desired preset number, then press ENTER. Alternatively, use the dedicated Preset Buttons (1-5) to directly recall saved stations.
  6. Information Display: Press the MENU/INFO button repeatedly to cycle through various information displays, such as program type, signal strength, and bit rate.

6.4 FM Radio Operation

  1. Auto Scan: In FM mode, press and hold the Rotary Knob / ENTER button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The radio will stop at the next strong station.
  2. Manual Tuning: Rotate the Rotary Knob to manually tune to a specific FM frequency.
  3. Saving Presets: Tune to your desired FM station. Press and hold the PRESET button until "Preset Store" appears. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select a preset number (1-5), then press ENTER to save.
  4. Recalling Presets: Briefly press the PRESET button. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select the desired preset number, then press ENTER. Alternatively, use the dedicated Preset Buttons (1-5) to directly recall saved stations.

6.5 Auxiliary Input (AUX)

To play audio from an external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player):

  1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your external device's headphone jack to the AUX input port on the radio.
  2. Press the MODE button until "AUX Input" or similar appears on the display.
  3. Control playback and volume from your external device.

6.6 Timer and Sleep Function

Press the TIMER/SLEEP button to access sleep timer settings. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select the desired sleep duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes), then press ENTER to confirm. The radio will automatically turn off after the set time.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: If not in use for an extended period, unplug the radio and store it in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting
