Setup and Assembly

1. Before first use, disassemble all components and clean thoroughly.
2. Insert the soft silicone spout into the screw ring from the top. Ensure the spout is pulled through completely and seated firmly.
3. Fill the cup base with the desired liquid (water, milk, or juice) up to the 6 oz (180 mL) mark. Do not overfill.
4. Screw the assembled spout and ring onto the cup base until secure. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions

The Nuby Mini Gripper Sippy Cup is designed for easy use by babies 6 months and older.

• Offer the cup to your child. The contoured shape and textured grooves are designed for small hands to grip easily.
• The built-in TOUCH-FLO™ valve in the soft silicone spout is pressure-sensitive. It opens only when your child sips and closes when they stop, preventing drips and spills.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Troubleshooting

Leaking

• Issue: Cup leaks when inverted or shaken.
• Solution: Ensure the silicone spout is correctly seated within the screw ring and the screw ring is tightened securely onto the cup base. The TOUCH-FLO™ valve relies on proper assembly for its no-spill function.
• Issue: Liquid drips from the vent hole.
• Solution: This can occur if the valve is not fully closed or if the cup is subjected to extreme pressure changes. Ensure the spout is clean and free from debris.

Difficulty Drinking

• Issue: Child struggles to get liquid from the spout.
• Solution: Ensure the child is applying a gentle sucking action. The TOUCH-FLO™ valve requires suction to open. Check that the spout is not blocked by food particles or debris.
