  4. Lower the CPU into the socket.
  5. Close the retention frame and secure it by pushing the load lever back into its locked position.
  6. Apply thermal paste to the CPU and install the CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.

4.2. RAM Installation

  1. Open the clips at both ends of the DDR3 memory slots.
  2. Align the notch on the DDR3 memory module with the key in the memory slot.
  3. Insert the memory module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place. Ensure both clips are fully closed.

4.3. Storage Device Installation (SATA)

  1. Connect one end of a SATA data cable to a SATA 3.0 port on the motherboard.
  2. Connect the other end of the SATA data cable to your HDD or SSD.

4.5. Power Connections

  1. Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector from your PSU to the 24-pin power socket on the motherboard.
  2. Connect the 4-pin CPU power connector from your PSU to the 4-pin CPU power socket near the CPU. Note: Ensure all 8 pins are connected if your PSU has an 8-pin connector and the motherboard supports it, otherwise use the 4-pin connector.

4.6. Front Panel and Rear I/O Connections

  1. Connect your case's front panel headers (Power Switch, Reset Switch, HDD LED, Power LED) to the corresponding pins on the motherboard's front panel header. Refer to the motherboard diagram for pin assignments.
  2. Connect front panel USB and audio headers.
