3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
The mouse requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). To install:
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the underside of the mouse.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.

3.2. Connecting Your Mouse
The mouse supports two connection modes: 2.4G USB-A and Bluetooth (5.0/3.0). You can connect to two devices simultaneously and switch between them.

3.2.1. 2.4G USB-A Connection
- Locate the USB-A receiver in the battery compartment of the mouse.
- Plug the USB-A receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the underside. The mouse should connect automatically.
3.2.2. Bluetooth Connection (BT 5.0/3.0)
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the underside.
- Press the Bluetooth pairing button on the underside of the mouse. The LED indicator will flash blue, indicating pairing mode.
- On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
- Select "TECKNET Mouse" (or similar name) from the list of available devices to pair.
- Once paired, the blue LED will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds before turning off.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. DPI Adjustment
The mouse features 6 adjustable DPI settings (800/1200/1600/2400/3200/4800) to customize cursor sensitivity. Press the DPI switch button (located behind the scroll wheel) to cycle through the settings.

4.2. Silent Operation
The mouse is designed for whisper-quiet clicks, making it ideal for environments where noise reduction is important, such as libraries or offices.

4.5. LED Indicator

4.6. Compatibility

Note:
- The side buttons (Forward/Backward) are not compatible with macOS.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator lights up or when mouse performance degrades.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse to conserve battery life. Store the USB receiver in its dedicated slot within the battery compartment.
6. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Check if the mouse is turned on.
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge.
- For 2.4G connection, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth connection, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is properly paired. Try re-pairing the mouse.
- Erratic cursor movement:
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (e.g., mouse pad, desk). Avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces.
- Adjust the DPI setting to a lower value if the cursor is too sensitive.
- Connection drops frequently:
- Move the mouse closer to the USB receiver or Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Avoid using the mouse near strong interference sources (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects).
