2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials. Check for any damage.
  2. Placement: Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of free space above the oven, 10 cm at the rear, and 5 cm on each side for proper ventilation. Do not block any air vents.
  3. Turntable Installation: Place the turntable ring inside the oven cavity. Then, place the glass turntable on top of the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely on the turntable shaft.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the microwave with a soft, damp cloth.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Microwave Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
  2. Close the oven door securely.
  3. Use the rotary knob to set the desired cooking time (up to 99 minutes).
  4. Press the 'Power Level' button repeatedly to select one of the 5 available power levels (e.g., P100 for 100% power, P80 for 80%, etc.).
  5. Press the 'Start' button to begin cooking. The digital display will show the remaining time.

5.2 Automatic Programs

The microwave features 8 pre-set automatic programs for common foods. Refer to the control panel for specific program icons.

  1. Place food in the oven.
  2. Press the 'Auto Menu' button repeatedly to cycle through the 8 automatic programs.
  3. Use the rotary knob to select the weight or quantity for the chosen program.
  4. Press 'Start' to begin.

5.3 Defrost Function

The defrost function allows for quick and efficient thawing of frozen foods.

  1. Place frozen food on the turntable.
  2. Press the 'Defrost' button.
  3. Use the rotary knob to set the weight of the food.
  4. Press 'Start'. The oven will pause during defrosting to allow you to turn the food for even thawing.

5.4 Quick Start (+30 Seconds)

For quick heating at full power, press the '+30 Sec' button. Each press adds 30 seconds to the cooking time at 100% power.

5.5 Child Lock

To activate the child lock, press and hold the 'Stop/Cancel' button for 3 seconds. The display will show a lock indicator. To deactivate, press and hold the 'Stop/Cancel' button again for 3 seconds.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning of your microwave oven is essential for optimal performance and longevity.

  • Interior Cleaning: After each use, wipe the interior cavity with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for 2-3 minutes to loosen residue, then wipe clean.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Turntable and Ring: The glass turntable and turntable ring can be removed and washed in warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
  • Door Seals: Regularly clean the door seals and adjacent parts with a damp cloth to remove any spills or food particles.
  • Always unplug the microwave before cleaning.
