Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the MD706. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC Charging Port (14) on the back of the unit and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included). The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours.

2. Powering On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the Power On/Off button (15) located on the back. To power off, press and hold the same button.

3. Inserting a CD

Gently lift the CD Cover Open (13) on the top of the unit. Place a CD (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA format) onto the spindle, ensuring it is seated correctly. Close the CD cover.

Operating Modes

1. CD Mode

After inserting a CD and powering on, the device will automatically switch to CD mode and begin playback.

  • Supported Formats: CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA.
  • Use the Previous (8) and Next (9) buttons to navigate tracks.
  • Press Pause/Play (11) to pause or resume playback.
  • Press Stop (10) to stop playback.
  • The MD706 features an anti-jump function to prevent interruptions during movement.

2. Bluetooth Transmit (BT TX) Mode

This mode allows the MD706 to transmit audio from a CD or USB to external Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Ensure the MD706 is playing audio (e.g., a CD).
  2. Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode.
  3. Press the BT TX (7) button on the MD706. The Bluetooth icon on the display will flash, indicating it's searching for devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing and remain solid.

3. Bluetooth Receive (BT RX) Mode

This mode allows the MD706 to act as a Bluetooth speaker, receiving audio from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

  1. Press the MODUS (2) button repeatedly until "bt" appears on the display.
  2. On your external device (phone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "MD706".
  3. Select "MD706" to pair. Once connected, you can play audio from your device through the MD706 speakers.

4. FM Radio Mode

Listen to your favorite FM radio stations.

  1. Press the CD/FM (4) button to switch to FM mode.
  2. Extend the telescopic antenna on the back of the unit for better reception.
  3. Use the Previous (8) and Next (9) buttons to tune to different frequencies.

5. AUX-in Mode

Connect external audio devices using the provided AUX cable.

  1. Connect one end of the AUX cable to the AUX Out Port (16) on the back of the MD706.

  2. Press the MODUS (2) button repeatedly until "USB" appears on the display.
