Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your Birtech 14-inch Kids Balance Bike. A tool kit is included for your convenience.
- Assemble the Fork and Frame: Insert the two bushings into the top and bottom of the head tube. Slide one stem spacer over the end of the fork. Insert the fork up through the bottom of the head tube.
- Install the Handlebar: Slide the remaining stem spacer and then the stem clamp down over the fork. Insert the handlebar into the fork at least 2 inches deep, ensuring proper alignment. Fasten the clamp by turning the screw clockwise to hold the handlebar in place.
- Attach the Front Wheel: Remove the axle bolts and retention devices from the front wheel. Insert the wheel axle between the fork tubes, ensuring the axle fits into the slots at the end of the fork blades. Reinstall the axle retention devices and bolts on each side. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the axle bolts securely.
- Attach the Rear Wheel: Install the rear wheel in the same manner as the front wheel, ensuring the axle is securely fastened within the frame dropouts.
- Install and Adjust the Seat: Install the seat clamp by sliding it onto the frame. Insert the seat post with the saddle into the frame. Tighten the seat clamp by turning the screw clockwise until snug, then press the lever down to lock the seat in place. Adjust the seat height to allow your child to comfortably sit on the bike with their feet flat on the ground and a slight bend in their knees.

Operating Instructions
The Birtech 14-inch Kids Balance Bike is designed to help children develop balance and coordination before transitioning to a pedal bike.
- Riding Position: Ensure your child can comfortably touch the ground with their feet while seated, with a slight bend in their knees. This allows them to push off and maintain balance.
- Starting to Ride: Encourage your child to walk or run with the bike between their legs, pushing off the ground with their feet. As they gain confidence, they will naturally lift their feet and glide.
- Steering: Teach your child to steer by gently turning the handlebars in the desired direction.
- Stopping: Children can stop by placing their feet firmly on the ground.

- Cleaning: Clean the bike with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Inspections: Periodically inspect the frame for any damage or cracks. Check all bolts and connections for tightness.
- Storage: Store the bike in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation.

| Unstable Ride | Low tire pressure or loose wheel axles. | Inflate tires to recommended PSI. Check and tighten wheel axle bolts. |
