Operating Instructions

Deadbolt Operation:
- To Lock from Exterior: Insert the key into the deadbolt cylinder and turn it to extend the 1-inch solid-core throw bolt into the door frame. Remove the key.
- To Unlock from Exterior: Insert the key into the deadbolt cylinder and turn it to retract the throw bolt. Remove the key.
- To Lock/Unlock from Interior: Use the thumb turn located on the interior pack (sold separately) to extend or retract the deadbolt.
Latch Operation:
- To Open from Exterior: Depress the thumb piece on the exterior handleset to retract the latch bolt.
- To Open from Interior: Rotate the grip or lever on the interior pack (sold separately) to retract the latch bolt.
Security Features:
This handleset incorporates patented side locking bar technology, which offers improved security by protecting against lock bumping and other common attack techniques. The deadbolt features a full 1-inch solid-core throw bolt for robust security.
Each lock is supplied with two keys. For orders of three or more items keyed alike, a total of six keys will be provided.
