2. Riding Modes and Pedal Assist

The VAKOLE VT4 features 3 riding modes and a professional 7-speed manual gearbox. You can switch between pedal-assist levels using the controls on the handlebar. The 250W rear hub motor provides assistance up to 25 km/h, making inclines of 15-25° easy to climb. In assisted mode (PAS-1), the bike can achieve a range of up to 75 km on a single charge.

  • Pedal-Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. There are multiple levels of assistance to choose from.
  • Throttle Mode (if applicable): Some models may include a throttle for motor-only propulsion. Refer to local regulations regarding throttle use.
  • Manual Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle with no motor assistance.

3. Gear Shifting

Use the 7-speed manual gearbox to select appropriate gears for different terrains and speeds. Shift gears smoothly to maintain an efficient pedaling cadence and reduce strain on the motor and drivetrain.

4. Braking

The VT4 is equipped with disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for effective and controlled braking. Practice braking in a safe area to familiarize yourself with the bike's stopping characteristics.
