Setup
1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:
- Epson EcoTank ET-2400 Printer
- EcoFit ink bottles (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow)
- Premium Photo Paper SEMI-Gloss (8.5x11 Inches, 20 Sheets)
- Power cord
- Setup guide and documentation
2. Filling the Ink Tanks
The EcoTank ET-2400 features a cartridge-free ink system. Use the provided EcoFit ink bottles to fill the corresponding color tanks. Each bottle is keyed to fit only its designated color tank, preventing accidental misfilling.
- Open the ink tank unit cover on the printer.
- Open the cap for the color tank you wish to fill.
- Uncap the corresponding EcoFit ink bottle and insert it firmly into the filling port. The ink will automatically begin to fill the tank. Do not squeeze the bottle.
- Once the tank is full, the ink flow will stop. Remove the bottle and securely close the ink tank cap and the unit cover.
- Repeat for all colors.

5. Software Installation
For full functionality, install the necessary drivers and software on your computer or mobile device. The Epson Smart Panel app (available for iOS and other compatible devices) provides convenient control and monitoring of your printer.

Operating Instructions
Printing Documents and Photos
To print, select the Epson ET-2400 as your printer from your application's print dialog. Copying Documents
Place the original document on the scanner glass. Use the printer's control panel or the Epson Smart Panel app to select copy functions. You can adjust settings such as number of copies, color or black-and-white, and paper size. The maximum copy resolution for color is 1200x1200 dpi.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal print quality and extends the life of your printer. The EcoTank system significantly reduces waste by eliminating cartridges.
Checking Ink Levels
Visually inspect the ink tanks on the front of the printer to monitor ink levels. You can also check ink levels through the Epson Smart Panel app or printer status monitor on your computer.

Print Head Cleaning
If print quality declines (e.g., missing lines, faded colors, or banding), perform a print head cleaning. This function is typically accessible through the printer's utility software on your computer or the Epson Smart Panel app. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Nozzle Check
Before performing a head cleaning, run a nozzle check to confirm if cleaning is necessary. This prints a pattern that reveals clogged nozzles.
Paper Path Cleaning
If paper jams occur frequently or printouts have smudges, refer to the printer's software or online support for instructions on cleaning the paper path rollers.
