Setup

Unpacking and Assembly

1. Remove all components from the packaging.
2. Attach the handle to the main unit.
3. Connect the high-pressure hose to the pump outlet and the spray gun.
4. Insert the spray wand into the spray gun until it clicks into place.

Connecting Water Supply

A clean, cold water source is essential for proper operation.

1. Connect a garden hose (minimum 5/8 inch diameter) to the water inlet on the pressure washer.
2. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
3. Turn on the water supply completely.

Connecting Power

Ensure the power outlet is suitable for the pressure washer's electrical requirements.

1. Uncoil the power cord completely.
2. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.

Detergent Tank Setup

For applications requiring detergent, fill the onboard tank.

1. Remove the detergent tank from its housing.
2. Fill the tank with pressure washer safe detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
3. Return the detergent tank to its position.

Operating Instructions

Starting the Pressure Washer

1. Ensure the water supply is fully open and the power cord is plugged in.
2. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to purge air from the system until a steady stream of water emerges.
3. Press the on/off foot switch to turn on the pressure washer.

Using Spray Nozzles

The K1800PS includes three quick-connect nozzles for various cleaning tasks:

• 15° Nozzle: Provides a concentrated spray for general cleaning and stubborn dirt.

The included 11-inch Universal Surface Cleaner is ideal for cleaning large, flat areas such as driveways, patios, and decks. It features two spinning nozzles that clean an 11-inch wide area, significantly reducing cleaning time and minimizing overspray for a drier experience.

Shutting Down

1. Press the on/off foot switch to turn off the pressure washer.
2. Turn off the water supply.
3. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
5. Disconnect the garden hose from the unit.

Maintenance

Cleaning Nozzles

Regularly inspect and clean the nozzles to ensure optimal performance. Use the included nozzle cleaning tool to clear any blockages.

Storage

Store the pressure washer in a dry, protected area where it will not be exposed to freezing temperatures. Drain all water from the pump, hose, and spray gun before storing.
