Setup
Unpacking and Assembly
The Kärcher K1800PS is designed for quick assembly without the need for tools. Follow these steps to prepare your unit for use:
- Remove all components from the packaging.
- Attach the handle to the main unit.
- Connect the high-pressure hose to the pump outlet and the spray gun.
- Insert the spray wand into the spray gun until it clicks into place.
Connecting Water Supply
A clean, cold water source is essential for proper operation.
- Connect a garden hose (minimum 5/8 inch diameter) to the water inlet on the pressure washer.

- Turn on the water supply completely.
Connecting Power

- Uncoil the power cord completely.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.
Detergent Tank Setup

- Remove the detergent tank from its housing.

- Return the detergent tank to its position.

The included 11-inch Universal Surface Cleaner is ideal for cleaning large, flat areas such as driveways, patios, and decks. It features two spinning nozzles that clean an 11-inch wide area, significantly reducing cleaning time and minimizing overspray for a drier experience.

Shutting Down
- Press the on/off foot switch to turn off the pressure washer.
- Turn off the water supply.
- Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
- Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
- Disconnect the garden hose from the unit.
