6. Care and Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Deolme recliner, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: The recliner is upholstered with quality silicone leather, which is easy to clean. For spills (food, drink, oil), wipe immediately with a clean, damp cloth. For general cleaning, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water, then wipe dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Protection: While the silicone leather is resistant to scratches to a certain extent, avoid sharp objects or excessive force that could damage the material.
- Power Cord: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Moving the Chair: When moving the recliner, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the base or flooring.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your recliner, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Recliner does not operate. | Not plugged in; power outage; loose connection. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into both the chair and the wall outlet. Check circuit breaker. |
| Voice command not responding. | Incorrect wake-up phrase; unclear pronunciation; background noise. | Ensure you are saying "Hi Terry" clearly. Reduce background noise. |
| Bluetooth audio quality is poor or connection issues. | Device too far; interference; speaker placement. | Ensure your device is within range. Minimize interference from other electronic devices. Note that speaker placement is near the floor, which may affect sound projection. |
| Phone holder cannot support device. | Device too heavy or large for the holder's capacity. | The phone holder is designed for standard-sized smartphones. Larger or heavier devices may not be adequately supported. |
| Backrest detaches or feels loose. | Backrest not fully engaged during assembly. | Ensure the backrest is firmly pushed down into the seat base brackets until it clicks securely on both sides. |
| Chair swivels unexpectedly. | This may be due to the nature of the swivel mechanism. | Ensure the chair is on a level surface. If persistent, contact customer support. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact Deolme customer support for further assistance.
