Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your basketball hoop. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

Step 1: Attach Wheels and Bottom Pole to Base

Insert the wheel shaft through the designated holes in the base. Secure the wheels on both ends. Then, insert the bottom pole section into the base opening.

Step 2: Secure Support Rods

Attach the support rods from the main pole to the base using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are tight for stability.

Step 3: Assemble Backboard and Rim

Attach the basketball rim to the backboard using the specified bolts and washers. Ensure the rim is securely fastened.

Step 4: Connect Pole Sections

Connect the middle and top pole sections to the bottom pole. Align the holes and secure them with the provided bolts. The height adjustment mechanism will be used later.

Step 5: Attach Backboard Assembly to Top Pole

Carefully lift the assembled backboard and rim, and attach it to the top pole section. Use the remaining hardware to secure it firmly.

Step 6: Install the Net

Thread the nylon net through the hooks on the basketball rim. Ensure it is evenly distributed and securely attached.

Step 7: Fill the Base for Stability

For optimal stability, fill the base with either water or sand. The base can hold approximately 40 kg (88 lbs) of water and sand combined, 32.5 kg (71.7 lbs) of water, or 35 kg (77.2 lbs) of sand. This prevents the hoop from tipping over during play.

Operating Instructions

Height Adjustment

The basketball hoop features 6 adjustable height settings, allowing the rim height to be set between 182 cm (71.7 inches) and 213 cm (83.9 inches). To adjust the height, loosen the adjustment knob on the main pole, slide the pole to the desired height, and then tighten the knob securely. Ensure the pole is locked into one of the pre-drilled holes for safety.

Portability

The hoop is designed with two wheels on the base for easy relocation. To move the hoop, tilt it slightly onto its wheels and roll it to your desired location. Always ensure the base is filled for stability before and after moving.
