Maintenance

Water Resistance

Your Armitron Sport watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This means it is suitable for recreational swimming and showering. However, it is important to:

  • Avoid pressing buttons underwater as this can compromise the water seal.
  • Avoid exposure to hot water or steam (e.g., hot showers, saunas) as temperature changes can affect the watch's seals.
  • Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water or chlorine.

Battery Replacement

The watch uses one product-specific battery (included). When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the resin case and strap.
