  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (110V).
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior with a damp cloth to remove any manufacturing residues.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for successful sublimation printing with your OFFNOVA oven:

5.1 Preparing Your Blank

  1. Design Preparation: Print your sublimation design onto sublimation paper using sublimation ink. Ensure the design is mirrored if necessary.
  2. Wrap the Blank: Carefully wrap your printed sublimation paper around the blank (e.g., tumbler, mug). Ensure the paper is taut and covers the desired area. For tumblers with handles, the upper and lower cup bodies may need to be wrapped separately.
  3. Secure with Tape: Use heat-resistant tape to secure the sublimation paper firmly to the blank, especially along seams and edges, to prevent ghosting.
  4. Apply Shrink Wrap (Optional): For best results, especially with tumblers, place the wrapped blank inside a shrink wrap and use a heat gun to shrink it tightly around the blank.

  2. Set Temperature and Time:
    • One-Touch Mode: Press the Mode Button for the default setting of 365°F (185°C) for 15 minutes. This is suitable for most tumblers.
    • Custom Settings: Use the control knob to adjust the temperature (140-395°F / 60-200°C) and time (1-30 minutes) according to your blank's specific requirements. Refer to the blank manufacturer's recommendations.
  3. Preheat: The oven will begin preheating. The Smart Preheat Alert feature will notify you with a countdown when the ideal temperature is reached.
  4. OFFNOVA Sublimation Oven display showing 'Pre-heat done' and a bell icon, indicating the oven has reached the set temperature.

The oven indicates when preheating is complete and it's time to place your items.

  5. Place Blank in Oven: Once preheated, carefully open the oven door. Using the provided silicone glove, place the prepared blank onto the oven rack. Ensure it is stable and not touching the heating elements or oven walls.
