2. Safety Information

  • Do not use with standard dimmer switches. Dimming is controlled exclusively via the AiDot app, voice assistants, or a Linkind remote button (sold separately).
  • Ensure the power is off before installing or removing the bulb.
  • For indoor use only.

5. Setup Instructions

5.1. Physical Installation

  1. Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the switch before installation.
  2. Carefully screw the Linkind Smart LED Bulb into a standard E26 light socket.
  3. Turn on the power to the light fixture. The bulb should light up.

5.2. AiDot App Installation and Pairing

The AiDot app is required for initial setup and full control of your Linkind Smart Bulbs.

  1. Download the AiDot App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Open the AiDot app and sign in or create a new account.
  3. Tap the "+" icon or "Add Device" in the app to begin pairing.
  4. Select "Smart Light Bulb" from the device list.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the bulb. Initial setup requires both Wi-Fi (2.4GHz only) and Bluetooth to be enabled on your phone.

5.3. Voice Assistant Integration (Alexa & Google Home)

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Tunable White and Smart Dimming

Adjust the color temperature from warm white (2700K) to cool daylight (6500K) and dim the brightness from 1% to 100% using the AiDot app or voice commands.

  • Via AiDot App: Open the app, select your bulb, and use the color temperature and brightness sliders to adjust.
  • Via Voice Control: Use commands like "Alexa, set [light name] to warm white" or "Hey Google, dim [light name] to 50%."

7. Maintenance

  • Clean the bulb with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Ensure the bulb is cool and the power is off before cleaning.
  • The bulb has a long lifespan of up to 25,000 hours and does not require frequent replacement.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Bulb not responding: Ensure the bulb is powered on and within range of your Wi-Fi router. Check your Wi-Fi connection (2.4GHz only).
  • Flickering or buzzing: This bulb is not compatible with traditional dimmer switches. Ensure it is connected to a standard on/off switch. Control dimming via the AiDot app or voice commands.
  • Cannot connect to Wi-Fi: Verify your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz networks are not supported. Ensure both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone during initial setup.
  • Voice control not working: Confirm that your AiDot account is correctly linked to your Alexa or Google Home account. Check your internet connection and ensure your voice assistant device is online.
  • Bulb gets hot: It is normal for LED bulbs to generate some heat. If the bulb feels excessively hot or you notice any unusual behavior, discontinue use and contact customer support.
