1. Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before operating the juicer.
  • Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the appliance is switched off before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
  • Always use the food pusher to guide food into the chute. Never use fingers or other utensils.
  • Do not operate the juicer if any part is damaged or if the cord/plug is compromised.
  • This appliance is equipped with an overheating protection system. If the motor overheats, the juicer will automatically shut off. Allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before resuming use.
  • All food-contact parts are BPA-free, ensuring safety and health.
  • Keep hands and utensils out of the feed chute during operation to prevent injury.
  • Ensure the safety locking arm is securely in place before operating the juicer.

Image: Removable Accessories. This image displays all the individual components of the juicer, laid out for easy identification. From left to right, the components are: a cleaning brush, the food pusher, the transparent top cover, the stainless steel filter assembly, the juice collection tray with spout, the pulp container (crumb tray), and the main motor body.

  1. Food Pusher: Used to guide fruits and vegetables into the feed chute.
  2. Top Cover: Transparent lid that covers the juicing mechanism.
  3. Filter Assembly (Filter ASM): Contains the stainless steel blade and mesh filter for juice extraction.
  4. Juice Collect Tray and Spout Assembly: Collects the extracted juice and directs it through the spout.
  5. Crumb Tray (Pulp Container): Collects the separated pulp.
  6. Main Body: Houses the motor and control dial.
  7. Cleaning Brush: For easy cleaning of the filter mesh.

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your juicer before first use:

Step-by-step assembly guide for the Sejoy Juicer.

Image: Quick Assembly Guide. This image illustrates the five key steps for assembling the juicer: 1. Installing the juice collect tray onto the main body. 2. Placing the filter assembly into the juice collect tray. 3. Attaching the fruit residue collection box (pulp container). 4. Placing the top cover onto the assembled parts. 5. Securing the safety locking arm on both sides to lock the components in place.

  1. Place the Main Body on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Install the Juice Collect Tray and Spout Assembly onto the main body, ensuring it sits securely.
  3. Carefully place the Filter Assembly into the center of the juice collect tray, aligning it with the motor shaft.
  4. Attach the Crumb Tray (Pulp Container) to the side of the juicer, underneath the pulp ejection chute.
  5. Place the Top Cover over the filter assembly and juice collect tray, ensuring it aligns correctly.
  6. Engage the Safety Locking Arm by lifting it and securing it into the slots on both sides of the top cover. The juicer will not operate unless the locking arm is properly engaged.
  7. Place a juice collection cup or pitcher under the spout.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for efficient juicing:

Image: Two Speed Settings. This image shows the control dial with two distinct modes: 'Modes 1 Fruit Juice' for soft fruits and 'Modes 2 Vegetable Juice' for harder vegetables, along with the '0' (off) position.

  1. Preparation: Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. The 3.0-inch wide feed chute can accommodate whole small apples, reducing the need for extensive chopping. For larger items, cut them into pieces that fit comfortably into the chute. Remove large seeds or hard pits from fruits like peaches or avocados.
  2. Power On: Plug the juicer into a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Select Speed: Turn the control dial to the desired speed setting:
    • Speed 1 (12500 RPM): Ideal for soft fruits and vegetables such as oranges, grapes, strawberries, tomatoes, and leafy greens.
    • Speed 2 (15000 RPM): Suitable for harder fruits and vegetables like carrots, apples, celery, ginger, and pineapples.
  4. Juicing: With the motor running, gradually feed the prepared ingredients into the feed chute using the Food Pusher. Apply gentle, even pressure. Do not force food into the chute, as this can strain the motor and reduce juice yield.
  5. Monitor Pulp: The pulp will be ejected into the crumb tray. If the crumb tray becomes full, turn off the juicer, empty the tray, and reassemble before continuing.
  6. Finish Juicing: Once all ingredients are juiced, turn the control dial to the "0" (off) position. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your juicer.

Image: Easy to Clean. This image illustrates that removable parts are dishwasher safe and shows the use of a cleaning brush to clean the filter mesh under running water.

  1. Disassembly: Ensure the juicer is unplugged. Disengage the safety locking arm and remove the top cover, food pusher, filter assembly, juice collect tray, and crumb tray.
  2. Rinse Immediately: Rinse all removable parts under running water to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
  3. Dishwasher Safe Parts: All removable parts (top cover, food pusher, filter assembly, juice collect tray, crumb tray) are dishwasher safe. Place them on the top rack of your dishwasher.
  4. Manual Cleaning: For manual cleaning, wash removable parts with warm, soapy water. Use the provided cleaning brush to thoroughly clean the fine mesh of the filter assembly. This is crucial for maintaining juicing efficiency.
  5. Main Body: Wipe the main motor body with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main body in water or any other liquid.
  6. Drying and Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the juicer. Store in a clean, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Juicer does not turn on.1. Not plugged in.

2. Clean the filter mesh thoroughly with the cleaning brush.
3. Feed ingredients slowly and apply gentle, consistent pressure with the food pusher.
Excessive vibration or noise.1. Juicer not assembled correctly.
2. Unbalanced load in the feed chute.
1. Disassemble and reassemble the juicer, ensuring all parts are securely in place.
2. Ensure ingredients are cut to appropriate sizes and fed evenly.
Motor stops during operation.1. Overheating protection activated.
2. Overloading the motor.
