Setup: Blade Installation and Replacement

Your Klein Tools FLICKBLADE comes pre-loaded with five extra blades in its storage compartment. Follow these steps to install or replace a blade:

1. Ensure the knife is in the closed position for safety.
2. Locate the blade storage compartment on the side of the knife handle.
3. Gently pull the blade storage compartment outwards to open it.

4. Carefully remove a new blade from the storage or dispose of an old blade. The compartment is designed for easy access, even with gloves.
5. To replace the active blade, press the blade release button near the blade holder and slide the old blade out.
6. Insert the new blade into the blade holder until it clicks securely into place.
7. Close the blade storage compartment by pushing it back into the handle until it latches.

4. Closing the Knife: Press the side button release and fold the blade back into the handle until it is fully closed and secured.
