This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your KAWA D10-1 4K Dash Cam. Designed for optimal road safety and incident recording, the D10-1 features 4K front and 1080P rear recording, AI-ISP True Color Night Vision, built-in GPS and WiFi, and 24-hour AI parking surveillance. Setup Guide

1. Initial Device Preparation

Before connecting the dash cam to power, ensure the Micro SD card is properly inserted. This prevents potential damage to the card.

• Insert the provided 64GB Micro SD card into the designated slot on the dash cam.
• Connect the power cord to the dash cam.
• The dash cam will power on and display the initial setup screen.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to set the system language and real time.

2. Connecting to the KAWA AUTO App

The KAWA AUTO App allows you to view recordings, download files, and manage settings directly from your smartphone via Wi-Fi.

• Download the "KAWA AUTO" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
• On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi hotspot (named "KAWA_D10_XXXX", where XXXX are the last four digits of the MAC address). The default password is "12345678".
• Once connected, return to the KAWA AUTO app and confirm the connection.

3. Connecting the Rear Camera

The rear camera provides a 1080P view of the vehicle's rear, enhancing overall coverage.

• Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the main dash cam unit.
• Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the desired rear camera mounting location.
• Mount the rear camera securely, ensuring a clear view. It is recommended to connect to the app before final installation to determine optimal camera direction and position based on the app screen.

Operating the Dash Cam

True Color Night Vision

The KAWA D10-1 utilizes AI-ISP technology and a Sony STARVIS sensor to provide true color night vision, ensuring clear capture of road scenes even in low-light conditions. This enhances visibility of vehicles, pedestrians, and road signs at night.

Continuous Loop Recording

The dash cam features continuous loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest footage when the Micro SD card is full, ensuring infinite storage. Emergency-recorded videos are securely stored separately and are not overwritten. Recording durations can be set to 1, 2, or 3 minutes.

24-Hour AI Parking Surveillance

For round-the-clock security, the D10-1 includes AI motion monitoring, emergency video recording, and time-lapse recording. In case of a collision or unusual movement, the dash cam instantly initiates recording to capture evidence and conserve storage space. Note: These features require a parking monitoring cable, which is not included and must be purchased separately.
