2. Window Kit and Exhaust Hose Installation

The exhaust hose expels hot air outdoors. Proper installation is crucial for efficient cooling.

  1. Attach the exhaust hose to the adaptor.
  2. Connect the adaptor to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the unit.
  3. Assemble the window slide bar kit according to your window size (minimum 9 inches / 23 cm, maximum 47 inches / 120 cm).
  4. Insert the window slide bar kit into the window opening.
  5. Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the opening in the window slide bar.
  6. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
