Assembly:

3. Operating Instructions
Adjusting Grind Size:
The KINGrinder K1 features an internal grind adjustment mechanism. To adjust, remove the catch cup and locate the adjustment dial at the bottom of the burr assembly. Rotate the dial to select your desired grind setting. One full round is equivalent to 40 clicks.

Recommended Grind Settings:

Grinding Process:
- Ensure the catch cup is securely attached.
- Open the top lid and pour your desired amount of whole coffee beans into the hopper (maximum 25g capacity).
- Close the lid and attach the handle.
- Hold the grinder firmly and rotate the handle clockwise to begin grinding.
- Continue grinding until all beans have passed through the burrs and collected in the catch cup.
- Unscrew the catch cup to retrieve your freshly ground coffee.
4. Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your KINGrinder K1.
Cleaning:
- Regularly clean the burrs and internal components to prevent oil buildup and ensure consistent grind quality.
- Disassemble the catch cup and handle.
- Use a soft brush (a dedicated coffee grinder brush is recommended) to remove any residual coffee grounds from the burrs and inside the grinder body.
- Wipe the exterior with a dry, soft cloth.
Important: The KINGrinder K1 is not washable. Do not rinse with water or immerse in any liquid. Keep the grinder dry at all times to prevent damage to the burrs and internal mechanisms.
5. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Grinding: Ensure the grind setting is not too fine for the beans being used. Very fine settings require more effort. Check for any obstructions in the burr assembly.
- Inconsistent Grind: Clean the burrs thoroughly to remove any accumulated coffee oils or fine particles. Ensure the adjustment dial is securely set and has not shifted during grinding.
- Handle Not Turning Smoothly: Check for any foreign objects or excessive coffee grounds obstructing the burr mechanism. Disassemble and clean if necessary.
