4. Setup Guide
4.1. Battery Installation
- Gently remove the magnetic back cover of the mouse.
- Insert one AAA battery into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity. An AAA to AA battery converter is included for flexibility.
- Replace the magnetic back cover, ensuring it snaps securely into place.
4.2. Connecting via ROG Omni Receiver (2.4 GHz RF)
- Locate the ROG Omni Receiver (USB dongle) included with your mouse.
- Plug the ROG Omni Receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- On the bottom of the mouse, slide the connectivity switch to the 2.4 GHz RF mode icon (looks like a wireless signal).
- The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.
4.3. Connecting via Bluetooth
- On the bottom of the mouse, slide the connectivity switch to the Bluetooth mode icon.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the bottom of the mouse until the scroll wheel LED starts blinking, indicating pairing mode.
- On your computer, navigate to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
- Select "ROG Strix Impact III Wireless" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process.
4.4. Software Installation (Armory Crate)
