  • Frying Basket: Removable basket for holding food during cooking.
  • Basket Handle: For safe insertion and removal of the frying basket.

3. Before First Use

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  2. Clean: Wash the frying basket and any removable accessories thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  3. Initial Run (Optional): To eliminate any manufacturing odors, you may run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.

4. Setup

  1. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space on the back and sides, and above the appliance, to allow for proper air circulation.
  2. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local voltage.
  3. Insert Basket: Carefully slide the frying basket into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place the ingredients into the frying basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  2. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control dial (labeled 'temp') to your desired cooking temperature. The range is typically from 80°C to 200°C.
  3. Set Time: Turn the timer control dial (labeled 'time') to your desired cooking time. The timer can be set up to 60 minutes. The air fryer will automatically turn off when the timer reaches zero.
  4. Cooking Process: The air fryer will begin heating. For best results, shake the basket halfway through the cooking time for items like fries or chicken nuggets to ensure even crisping. To do this, carefully pull out the basket by its handle, shake, and then slide it back in. The air fryer will resume cooking.
  5. Completion: When the timer rings, the cooking process is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food to a plate.

5.3. Achieving Optimal Results

To achieve the best results, consider the following:

  • Preheating: For some recipes, preheating the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired temperature can improve cooking consistency.
  • Oil Application: While air frying requires minimal oil, a light spray or toss with oil can enhance crispiness and flavor for certain foods.
  • Food Size and Quantity: Cut food into uniform pieces for even cooking. Avoid overcrowding the basket. Cook in batches if necessary.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Frying Basket: The frying basket can be washed in hot water with dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak the basket in hot water for about 10 minutes before cleaning. The basket may also be dishwasher safe (refer to product markings for confirmation).
  3. Clean Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. For heavy grease, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
