Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Defender-ST Micro Dot Sight.
Cleaning the Lenses:
Use the included lens cloth or a soft, clean, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges or dried water spots, a small amount of lens cleaning fluid can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Battery Replacement:
The Defender-ST uses a CR2032 battery, located on the top of the unit for easy access. To replace, unscrew the battery cap, remove the old battery, insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up, and securely replace the cap. The battery runtime is approximately 25,000 hours at setting 6.
General Care:
Store the sight in a cool, dry place when not in use. The ArmorTek coating and ShockShield polymer insert provide excellent durability, but avoid unnecessary impacts or extreme temperatures.
