This manual provides instructions for the VIZIO 2.1 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model SV210M-0808. Setup Guide
1. Placement
Position the soundbar centrally below your television. The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room, ideally within 30 feet of the soundbar, for optimal bass distribution.

2. Connections
- HDMI eARC Connection: Connect one end of the included HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (eARC) port on the back of your soundbar. Connect the other end to the HDMI eARC port on your television. This connection allows for high-quality audio transmission and control of the soundbar volume using your TV remote.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the soundbar and then to a wall outlet. Connect the subwoofer's power cord to the subwoofer and then to a wall outlet.
- Bluetooth Connection: For wireless audio streaming from mobile devices, refer to the 'Bluetooth Pairing' section under Operation.
- USB Connection: The USB port on the soundbar is for firmware updates only.

3. QuickFit Installation (for compatible VIZIO TVs)
The QuickFit feature allows for seamless attachment of the soundbar directly to select VIZIO TVs without tools. This creates an integrated look and eliminates gaps.
- Twist in: Locate the mounting points on the bottom of your compatible VIZIO TV. Twist the QuickFit mounting screws into these points.
- Plug in: Connect the HDMI eARC cable from the soundbar to the TV's eARC port.
- Snap on: Align the soundbar with the mounting screws and gently push until it snaps securely into place.

Operation
1. Power On/Off
Press the Power button on the soundbar or use the VIZIO mobile app to turn the soundbar on or off. If connected via HDMI eARC, the soundbar may power on/off automatically with your TV.
2. Controlling with VIZIO Mobile App
Download the VIZIO Mobile app from your device's app store (Android or iOS). A VIZIO Account is required. The app allows you to control soundbar settings, adjust audio levels (bass, treble, dialogue), and receive product updates.

3. Controlling with TV Remote (HDMI eARC)
When connected via your TV's HDMI eARC port, you can use your existing TV remote to control the soundbar's volume. This provides a simplified user experience.
4. Bluetooth Pairing
To stream audio wirelessly from a Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Ensure the soundbar is powered on.
- Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Select the VIZIO soundbar from the list of available devices. The soundbar will indicate a successful connection.

5. Audio Modes and Settings
Adjust various audio settings for a personalized listening experience. These settings can typically be accessed through the VIZIO Mobile app or your VIZIO TV's integrated audio menu (if compatible).
- Bass: Adjusts low-frequency audio output.
- Treble: Adjusts high-frequency audio output.
- ClearDialog: Enhances dialogue clarity, making conversations easier to understand.
