Setup
Powering the Unit:
The EPB-3005 can be powered by either the included AC adapter or batteries.
- AC Power:
- Insert the small end of the AC adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the boombox.
- Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a standard AC wall outlet (100-240V ~ 50/60Hz).
- Battery Power:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
- Insert the required number of C-size batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: Disconnect the AC adapter when using battery power to prevent battery drain.
Operating Instructions
1. CD Player Operation

- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until "CD" appears on the LED display.
- Open the CD compartment door by gently lifting it.
- Place a CD (CD, CD-R, or CD-RW) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment door. The unit will read the disc, and the total number of tracks will appear on the display.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
- Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (|<< and >>|) to skip tracks.
- Press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to fast forward or rewind within a track.
- Press the STOP button to stop playback.
2. AM/FM Radio Operation

- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until "FM" or "AM" appears on the LED display.

- Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired radio station.
3. Bluetooth Operation
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the LED display. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or text.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and search for available devices.
- Select "EMERSON EPB-3005" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the unit will emit a confirmation tone, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your connected device through the boombox. Use your device's controls or the boombox's playback buttons (Play/Pause, Skip) to manage music.
4. USB/SD Card Playback

- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.

- Use the PLAY/PAUSE and SKIP/SEARCH buttons to control playback.
5. AUX-in Operation
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX-in jack on the boombox.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until "AUX" appears on the LED display.
- Play audio from your external device. Control volume using the boombox's volume knob and playback from your external device.
6. LED Lights and Super Bass
