- Electrical Safety: Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not remove the ground prong. Do not use an adapter. Do not use an extension cord.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the refrigerator. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Children: Supervise children when they are near the refrigerator. Do not allow children to play with or inside the appliance.
- Flammable Materials: Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids near this or any other appliance.
- Cleaning: Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- Disposal: Dispose of old refrigerators according to local regulations, as they may contain refrigerants and insulation materials that require special disposal procedures.
3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Remove all packaging materials, tape, and protective film from the refrigerator. Clean the interior with a mild detergent and warm water before use.
3.2 Location Requirements
Place the refrigerator on a level, sturdy floor. Allow at least 1 inch (2.54 cm) of space between the refrigerator's back and sides and the wall for proper air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
3.3 Leveling the Refrigerator
Your refrigerator has adjustable leveling feet. Use a wrench to turn the feet clockwise to raise the refrigerator or counter-clockwise to lower it. Ensure the refrigerator is level and the doors close properly.
3.4 Door Reversal
The refrigerator doors are reversible to accommodate different kitchen layouts. Refer to the detailed instructions in the separate installation guide for door reversal procedures. This process typically involves moving hinges and door stops from one side to the other.
3.5 Connecting to Power
Plug the refrigerator into a dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz, AC-only, 15 or 20 Amp fused, grounded electrical supply. Do not use an extension cord.
3.6 Initial Cooling
Allow the refrigerator to cool for at least 4 hours before placing food inside. The freezer compartment may take longer to reach optimal temperature.
3.7 Water Dispenser Setup
The external water dispenser is manual-fill. Locate the 4-liter water tank inside the refrigerator compartment. Fill the tank with potable water and place it back into its designated position. Ensure the dispenser lever operates smoothly.
4. Operating Your Refrigerator
4.1 Temperature Control
Your refrigerator features an interior electronic control panel. Adjust the temperature settings for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments as needed. The recommended setting for the refrigerator is 37°F (3°C) and for the freezer is 0°F (-18°C).

4.2 Xpert Energy Saver Technology
This technology optimizes compressor operation to reduce energy consumption while maintaining ideal temperatures for food preservation. No user intervention is typically required for this feature.
4.3 Cold Space Storage
The Cold Space area within the refrigerator is designed to provide slightly colder temperatures for specific items, helping to preserve freshness for longer. Utilize this area for dairy products, deli meats, or other items requiring colder storage.
4.4 Fast Cool Function
Activate the Fast Cool function when you need to rapidly cool newly added groceries or beverages. This temporarily lowers the temperature to quickly chill items. Refer to your control panel for activation instructions; the function typically deactivates automatically after a set period.
4.5 Humidity-Controlled Drawer
The drawer for fruits and vegetables includes a humidity control slider. Adjust the slider to maintain optimal humidity levels for different produce types. A higher humidity setting is ideal for leafy greens, while a lower setting is better for fruits.
4.6 Water Dispenser Usage
To dispense water, place a glass under the dispenser nozzle and press the lever. Ensure the internal water tank is filled. For best results, use filtered water.
4.7 Adjustable Shelves and Door Bins
The refrigerator features adjustable glass shelves and gallon-capacity door bins. To adjust, lift the shelf or bin straight up and pull it out. Reinsert at the desired height, ensuring it is securely seated.

5. Maintenance and Care
5.1 Cleaning
- Interior: Clean the interior surfaces, shelves, and drawers regularly with a solution of mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Exterior: Wipe exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. For stainless steel doors, use a stainless steel cleaner.
- Door Gaskets: Clean door gaskets with warm water and mild soap to ensure a proper seal.
- Condenser Coils: Periodically clean the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the refrigerator to maintain efficiency. Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
5.2 Manual Defrosting (Freezer)
The freezer compartment requires manual defrosting. When ice buildup reaches approximately 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thick, defrost the freezer:
- Unplug the refrigerator.
- Remove all food items and place them in a cooler.
- Leave the freezer door open to allow ice to melt naturally. Place towels on the floor to absorb water.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly before plugging the refrigerator back in and returning food.
5.3 Water Dispenser Cleaning
Regularly clean the manual-fill water tank and dispenser nozzle with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to prevent residue buildup.
5.4 LED Lighting
The refrigerator uses long-lasting LED lighting. If an LED light requires replacement, contact authorized service personnel.
6. Troubleshooting
