5. Operating Instructions

  1. Preheating: Once plugged in, the tool will begin to heat up. Allow several minutes for the tip to reach its operating temperature. The tool does not have a temperature adjustment dial; it operates at a fixed temperature.

  3. Wood Burning Technique:
    • Hold the pen like a pencil.
    • Apply gentle, consistent pressure to the wood surface.
    • Move the tip slowly to create darker lines and deeper burns. Move faster for lighter marks.
    • Experiment with different tips and pressure to achieve various effects.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning Tips: After the tool has cooled completely, gently wipe the tips with a soft cloth to remove any carbon buildup. Do not use abrasive materials or water on hot tips.
  • Storage: Store the wood burning kit and its accessories in a dry, safe place, away from dust and moisture, and out of reach of children.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord and the tool for any signs of wear or damage. If damage is found, discontinue use and seek professional advice or replacement.
