Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- Insert a charged 24V battery pack into the tool handle until it locks.
- To turn the tool ON, slide the power switch to the 'ON' position or depress the trigger, depending on the tool's design.
- To turn the tool OFF, release the trigger or slide the power switch to the 'OFF' position.
2. Adjusting Speed
The tool features variable speed control, allowing adjustment of OPM (Oscillations Per Minute) for different applications. Locate the speed adjustment dial or switch on the tool and set it to the desired speed. Lower speeds are suitable for delicate work or softer materials, while higher speeds are for aggressive material removal.
3. General Operation Guidelines
- Cutting: Select the appropriate blade for the material. Apply light, consistent pressure. Allow the tool to do the work; do not force it.
- Sanding: Attach a sanding pad and appropriate grit sandpaper. Move the tool in a consistent pattern across the surface to achieve an even finish.
- Scraping: Use a scraping blade. Hold the tool at a shallow angle to the surface and apply steady pressure to remove material.
- LED Light: The integrated LED light activates when the tool is in operation, providing illumination for the work area.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool.
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the tool with a soft, damp cloth. Remove any dust or debris from ventilation openings. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
