Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all listed items are present. Keep packaging materials for future transport or storage.

2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the AC IN socket on the rear of the main unit.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard 230V AC wall outlet.

3. Antenna Setup

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

4. Remote Control Battery Installation

The remote control requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the compartment.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Standby

Press the POWER button on the unit or remote control to turn the system on or off. In standby mode, the clock will be displayed.

2. Source Selection

Press the SOURCE button repeatedly on the unit or remote control to cycle through available modes: Bluetooth, CD, DAB+, FM, USB, AUX-IN.

3. Volume Control

Rotate the VOLUME knob on the unit or use the VOL+/- buttons on the remote control to adjust the sound level.

4. Bluetooth Operation

  1. Select Bluetooth mode. The display will show 'Bluetooth' and 'Pairing'.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for 'MIC300IDABBT'.
  3. Select 'MIC300IDABBT' to pair. Once connected, the display will show 'Bluetooth Connected'.
  4. You can now stream audio from your device to the Hi-Fi system.

5. CD Playback

  1. Select CD mode.
  2. Gently insert a CD into the CD slot with the label side facing up. The disc will be loaded automatically.
  3. Playback will begin automatically. Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Skip, Stop) on the unit or remote.

6. Radio Operation (DAB+/FM)

  1. Select DAB+ or FM mode.
  2. For DAB+: The system will automatically scan for available stations on first use. Use the TUNE+/- buttons to navigate through stations.
  3. For FM: Press and hold TUNE+/- to auto-scan for the next available station. Press briefly to fine-tune.
  4. To save a preset: Tune to the desired station, press and hold the PRESET button, select a preset number using TUNE+/-, and press PRESET again to confirm.
  5. To recall a preset: Press the PRESET button briefly, then use TUNE+/- to select the desired preset.

7. USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive (FAT32 format, max 32GB) into the USB port.
  2. Select USB mode. The system will automatically detect and play MP3 files.
  3. Use playback controls to navigate tracks.

8. AUX-IN Connection

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX-IN jack using the provided cable. Select AUX-IN mode to play audio from the connected device.

9. Wireless Charging

Place a Qi-compatible smartphone on the designated wireless charging area on top of the unit. Ensure the phone is centered for optimal charging. The charging indicator on the phone will confirm charging status.

10. USB Charging

Connect a USB charging cable to the USB charging port (5V-1A) on the rear of the unit to charge compatible devices.

11. Equalizer

Press the EQ button on the remote control to cycle through different equalizer presets (e.g., Flat, Classic, Rock, Pop, Jazz).

12. Setting the Clock

In standby mode, press and hold the TIME SET button on the remote. Use the TUNE+/- buttons to adjust hours and minutes, and TIME SET to confirm each setting.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces.
