1. Product Overview

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Initial Setup
- Charge the Mouse: Connect the USB-C charging cable to the mouse and a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The RGB lighting will indicate charging status.
- Power On: Locate the power switch on the bottom of the mouse and slide it to the 'On' position.
- Connect Wirelessly:
- 2.4GHz Wireless: Insert the 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer. The mouse should automatically connect.
- Bluetooth: Slide the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'BT 5.0' position. On your computer, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select 'YEYIAN Shift Mouse' to pair.
- Install Software (Optional): For full customization of buttons, DPI, and RGB lighting, download the official YEYIAN software from the manufacturer's website.

3.2 Changing Interchangeable Covers
The YEYIAN Shift Gaming Mouse comes with two interchangeable covers: a solid cover and a lightweight honeycomb cover. To change the cover:
- Gently lift the rear edge of the currently installed cover until it detaches from the magnetic connectors.
- Align the desired cover with the mouse body, ensuring the front tabs fit into their slots.
- Press down firmly on the rear of the cover until it snaps into place with the magnetic connectors.

4. Operation
4.1 Button Functions
The YEYIAN Shift Gaming Mouse features 10 programmable buttons. Default functions are as follows:
- Left Click: Primary action.
- Right Click: Secondary action.
- Scroll Wheel Click: Middle click.
- DPI Loop Button: Cycles through preset DPI levels.
- Forward Button: Navigates forward in web browsers/folders.
- Backward Button: Navigates backward in web browsers/folders.
- Additional buttons can be customized via the YEYIAN software.
4.2 DPI Adjustment
The mouse features an intuitive DPI loop button to seamlessly switch between sensitivity levels up to 26,000 DPI. The YEYIAN logo on the mouse changes color to indicate the current DPI level, providing visual feedback without needing to check software.
4.3 RGB Lighting
The integrated RGB lighting can be customized using the YEYIAN software. Choose from a spectrum of colors and various lighting effects to personalize your gaming setup.

4.4 Battery Life and Charging
The YEYIAN Shift Gaming Mouse offers up to 60 hours of battery life on a full charge. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours via the Type-C port. The mouse can be used while charging.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your mouse:
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Use a can of compressed air to clear dust and debris from crevices and around buttons.
- Ensure the optical sensor on the bottom is clean and free of obstructions.
5.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the mouse is powered off to conserve battery life.
