1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the speaker, press and hold the Power button (center button on top) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED lights illuminate. To power off, press and hold the same button until the lights turn off.

3.2 Bluetooth Pairing

Ensure the speaker is powered on. The LED lights will blink, indicating it's in pairing mode. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), navigate to the Bluetooth settings and select "XBoom" from the list of available devices. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED light will become solid blue.

4. Operating

4.1 Controls

• Power/Light Button (center): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to cycle through 7 light modes.
• Volume + / Next Track Button: Short press for volume up. Press and hold for next track.
• Volume - / Previous Track Button: Short press for volume down. Press and hold for previous track.
• Play/Pause / Hands-free Button: Short press to play/pause music. Press to answer/reject phone calls.
• TWS / EQ Button: Short press to achieve TWS paired or TWS cleared. Press and hold to switch EQ modes (Indoor or Outdoor).

4.2 Light Modes

The speaker features 7 distinct LED light modes that can be cycled through by short pressing the Power/Light button. These modes include various colors and pulsating effects to enhance your listening experience.

4.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve true stereo sound, you can pair two Memorex XBoom speakers together. Power on both speakers. Short press the TWS / EQ Button on one speaker. They will automatically search and pair with each other. Once paired, they will function as a left and right stereo channel.

4.4 Hands-free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can answer or reject phone calls directly from the speaker. Press the Play/Pause / Hands-free Button to answer an incoming call. Press it again to end the call. Press and hold to reject an incoming call.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Waterproof and Dustproof

The Memorex XBoom speaker is IP67 rated, meaning it is 100% protected against solid objects like dust and sand, and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for at least 30 minutes. While designed for durability, avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to extreme temperatures.

5.2 Cleaning and Storage

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth to clean. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the provided USB-C cable.
• Cannot Pair: Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (blinking LED). Turn off Bluetooth on other nearby devices that might be trying to connect. Restart both the speaker and your device.
• Low Volume: Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your connected device. Reduce the volume if it's at maximum.
• Sound Distortion: Move the speaker closer to your device to ensure a stable Bluetooth connection. Reduce the volume if it's at maximum.
