  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points and insert the wall plugs.
  4. Attach Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the wall using the long screws.
  5. Adjust Wall Distance: The wall distance can be adjusted between 99-115 mm to suit your preference and wall type.
  6. Mount Radiator: Carefully lift the radiator and attach it to the secured wall brackets.

4.2 Plumbing Connections

This radiator is designed for hot water systems. Ensure all connections are watertight.

  • Valve Installation: Install a suitable G1/2" valve (not included) to control the water flow to the radiator.
  • Flexible Connection: The radiator can be installed with the connector on either the left or right side, allowing for flexible plumbing configurations. The connection dimension is 50 mm.
  • Connect Pipes: Connect the hot water inlet and outlet pipes to the radiator's G1/2" connections. Use appropriate sealing materials to prevent leaks.
  • Bleed Air: After filling the system, bleed any trapped air from the radiator using the bleed valve (typically located at the top of the radiator or on the valve itself) to ensure efficient operation.

5. Operation

Once installed and connected to your hot water heating system, the EMKE Bathroom Radiator operates by circulating hot water to emit heat into the room and warm towels.

  • Turning On/Off: Control the radiator's operation using the installed valve. Open the valve to allow hot water to circulate and close it to stop the flow.
  • Heat Distribution: The flat design and high-quality steel ensure uniform and efficient heat dissipation, quickly warming your bathroom and drying towels.
  • Towel Warming: Hang towels on the radiator bars to warm them before use or to dry them after use. Ensure towels do not completely cover the radiator, which could impede heat circulation.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your EMKE Bathroom Radiator.

  • Cleaning: Clean the radiator surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the black finish.
  • Inspecting Connections: Periodically check all plumbing connections for any signs of leaks or corrosion. Tighten connections if necessary.
  • Bleeding Air: If you notice cold spots on the radiator or reduced heating efficiency, it may be due to trapped air. Bleed the radiator as described in the installation section.
  • Protective Coating: The radiator features an environmentally friendly coating designed to protect against rust and leaks, requiring minimal special care.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your radiator, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

  • Radiator Not Heating:
    • Ensure the valve is fully open.
    • Check if there is air trapped in the radiator and bleed it.
    • Verify that your central heating system is operational and supplying hot water.
  • Radiator is Cold at the Top, Warm at the Bottom:
    • This usually indicates trapped air. Bleed the radiator until water flows out steadily.
  • Water Leaks:
    • Immediately turn off the water supply to the radiator.
    • Check all connections for tightness. If a leak persists, contact a qualified plumber.
  • Insufficient Heat Output:
    • Ensure the radiator is correctly sized for the room (refer to specifications).
    • Check for air in the system.
    • Verify that the recommended water temperatures are being met by your heating system.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
