4. Installation Instructions
Professional installation is recommended. Ensure all local plumbing codes are followed. Turn off the main water supply before starting any installation work.
4.1. Valve and Trim Installation
The thermostatic mixing valve is the core of your shower system. Proper installation is critical for optimal performance and safety.
- Prepare the Rough-in: Ensure the valve is installed at the correct depth within the wall (2 9/16" (65 mm) min - 2 15/16" (75 mm) max). An incorrect depth can lead to malfunction after tiling.
- Connect Water Lines: Connect the hot water inlet (left) and cold water inlet (right) to the valve. Standard connections are 1/2-14" NPT for USA/Canada and G1/2" for Europe.
- Flush Pipes: Before connecting to the valve, flush the two inlet pipes for two minutes to prevent blockage.
- Apply Teflon Tape: Wrap Teflon tape for at least 12 turns on all threaded connections to prevent leaks.

4.2. Rainfall Shower Head Installation (12-inch)
- Ensure the distance from the surface to the brass fitting is 5/8" (15 mm) after tiling.
- Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the shower arm.
- Thread the shower arm into the ceiling fitting and tighten.
- Attach the 12-inch rainfall shower head to the shower arm, ensuring the washer is in place.
4.3. Rainfall Shower Head Installation (6-inch)
- Ensure the distance from the surface to the brass fitting is 3/8" (8 mm) after tiling.
- Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the shower arm.
- Thread the shower arm into the wall fitting and tighten.
- Attach the 6-inch rainfall shower head to the shower arm, ensuring the washer is in place.
4.4. Handheld Shower Installation
- Ensure the distance from the surface to the brass fitting is 3/4" (20 mm) after tiling.
- Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the handheld shower holder fitting.
- Thread the handheld shower holder into the wall fitting and tighten.
- Connect the 59-inch metal hose to the handheld shower head and the holder. Ensure washers are in place at both connections.

5. Operation

- Temperature Control: Use the lower handle to adjust the water temperature. The thermostatic valve maintains your desired temperature, preventing sudden changes. The 100°F (38°C) safety lock can be overridden by pressing the button for higher temperatures.
- Flow Control: Use the upper handle to turn the water on/off and adjust the flow rate.
- Function Selection: The middle handle allows you to switch between the 12-inch rainfall shower head, 6-inch shower head, and handheld shower. You can also operate two functions simultaneously.
