2. Safety Information
- Always disconnect the power supply from the wall outlet before performing any installation, cleaning, or maintenance.
- Handle tempered glass panels with care. They are fragile and can shatter if dropped or subjected to impact.
- Avoid exposing the chassis to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Keep small components and screws out of reach of children.
- Ensure proper grounding to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to sensitive electronic components.
- Do not attempt to modify the chassis structure or components, as this may void your warranty and pose safety risks.
3. Package Contents
Please verify that all items listed below are present in your package. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact Phanteks customer support.
- Phanteks XT Pro Mid-Tower Chassis

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Preparing the Chassis
Before installing components, remove the side panels. The tempered glass side panel is typically secured with thumbscrews at the rear. The solid steel side panel may also use thumbscrews or a latch mechanism.

4.2 Motherboard Installation
Install the necessary motherboard standoffs into the chassis tray according to your motherboard's form factor (ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX). Carefully place the motherboard onto the standoffs, aligning the screw holes, and secure it with the provided motherboard screws.

4.3 Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
The PSU mounts at the bottom rear of the chassis. Slide your PSU into the designated bay from the rear and secure it with screws. Ensure the PSU fan faces downwards (if the case has a bottom vent) or upwards, depending on your cooling preference.
4.4 Storage Drive Installation
The XT Pro supports multiple storage drives.
- 3.5" HDDs: Install into the drive cage located under the PSU shroud.
- 2.5" SSDs: Mount to the dedicated SSD brackets behind the motherboard tray.

4.5 Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers at the rear of the chassis. Insert your graphics card into the PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it with the thumbscrew or latch mechanism. The XT Pro supports large graphics cards without compromise.
4.6 Fan and Radiator Installation
The XT Pro offers extensive cooling support:
- Front: Up to 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans.
- Top: Up to 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans, supporting up to a 360mm radiator.
- Rear: 1x 120mm fan.
- Bottom: Up to 2x 120mm fans.
Install fans and radiators using the appropriate screws. Ensure correct airflow direction for optimal cooling.

4.7 Cable Management
Utilize the cable routing cutouts and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to manage cables neatly. This improves airflow and aesthetics. Secure cables with zip ties or Velcro straps.
5. Operating the Chassis
5.1 Front I/O Panel
The front I/O panel is located on the top of the chassis and provides convenient access to essential ports and controls.
- Power Button: Turns the system on/off.
- Reset Button: Restarts the system.
- USB 3.0 Ports: For high-speed data transfer.
- USB-C 3.0 Port: For modern USB-C devices.
- Audio Jacks: Headphone and microphone ports.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.
- Dust Filters: The XT Pro features an ultra-fine performance mesh front panel and a top dust filter. Regularly clean these filters to maintain optimal airflow. They can typically be removed and cleaned with compressed air or a soft brush.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Interior Cleaning: Periodically use compressed air to remove dust buildup from internal components like fans, heatsinks, and circuit boards. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
- System not powering on:
- Check all power connections: PSU to wall, PSU to motherboard, and front panel power switch cable to motherboard.
- Ensure the PSU switch is in the "ON" position.
- No display output:
- Verify that the monitor cable is securely connected to the graphics card (or motherboard, if using integrated graphics).
- Reseat the graphics card and RAM modules.
- Excessive noise:
- Check if any fan cables are obstructing fan blades.
- Ensure all fans are securely mounted.
- Clean dust from fans and filters.
- Poor airflow/high temperatures:
- Clean all dust filters and internal components.
- Verify correct fan orientation (intake/exhaust).
- Ensure no cables are blocking airflow paths.
