Setup

1. Installation in Helmet

  1. Prepare Helmet: Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet for the intercom unit. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
  2. Mount Intercom Unit: Use either the clamp mount or the adhesive mount to securely attach the intercom unit to the helmet shell. Ensure it is firmly in place.
  3. Install Speakers: Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal audio quality. Use the provided hook-and-loop fasteners if necessary.
  4. Position Microphone: Attach the boom microphone to the inside of the helmet, positioning it close to your mouth but not obstructing your vision or comfort. For full-face helmets, the wired microphone can be routed along the helmet lining.
  5. Connect Cables: Route all speaker and microphone cables neatly within the helmet lining and connect them to the main intercom unit.

2. Initial Pairing and Charging

  1. Charge Battery: Before first use, fully charge the intercom unit using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible USB power adapter. The LED indicator will change when charging is complete.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
  3. Activate Pairing Mode: Refer to the specific button combination in your quick start guide to put the unit into Bluetooth pairing mode (usually holding a specific button until the LED flashes rapidly).
  4. Connect to Device: On your smartphone or GPS device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "NOLAN M951R MESH" from the list. Enter "0000" if a PIN is requested.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off
