Installation Guide

General Safety Precautions

Ensure you have all necessary tools and hardware before beginning installation.
Verify the wall structure can support the combined weight of the mount and your TV.
Always use a stud finder to locate wood studs accurately if mounting to wood.
For concrete or brick walls, use appropriate anchors (not always included, may need to be purchased separately).
If unsure about any part of the installation, consult a qualified professional.

Mount Compatibility

Both mounts are designed for specific TV sizes and VESA patterns. Please check your TV's VESA pattern before proceeding.

PSLTK1 Tilt TV Mount:
- Fits most 37”-82” TVs up to 132 lbs (60 kg).
- VESA mounting patterns: 200x100mm to 600x400mm.
- Compatible with 16”/18”/24” wood studs, concrete, or brick walls.
PSXLF03 Full Motion TV Wall Mount:
- Fits most 37”-75” flat/curved panel TVs up to 110 lbs.
- VESA mounting patterns: 200x100mm, 200x200mm, 300x200mm, 300x300mm, 400x300mm, 400x400mm, 500x400mm, 600x400mm.
- Compatible with wood studs (max 16” spacing), concrete, or brick walls.

Installation Steps (General)

Prepare the Wall: Locate and mark the desired mounting position. Use a stud finder to identify wood studs if applicable. For concrete/brick, mark drill points.
Attach Wall Plate: Secure the wall plate to the wall using appropriate lag bolts and anchors. Ensure the wall plate is level using a spirit level.
Attach TV Brackets: Attach the vertical TV brackets to the back of your television using the correct screws and spacers for your TV's VESA pattern.
Hang TV on Wall Plate: Carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets and hook them onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated.
Secure TV to Mount: For the PSLTK1, use the pull straps to easily lock or unlock the TV from the wall plate. For the PSXLF03, ensure all safety screws are tightened.

Operating Your TV Mount

PSLTK1 Tilt TV Mount Operation

Tilting: The PSLTK1 allows for a 7-degree downward tilt. Gently push the bottom of your TV forward to achieve the desired tilt angle to minimize glare.
Centering: You can shift your TV left or right on the wall plate for perfect centering after installation.
Low Profile: This mount holds your TV a mere 1.2” away from the wall for a sleek appearance.

PSXLF03 Full Motion TV Wall Mount Operation

Extension & Retraction: The mount arm can extend up to 27.36” from the wall and retract to as close as 3”. Gently pull or push the TV to adjust the distance.
Swivel: When fully extended, the TV can swivel up to ±90 degrees left or right to direct the screen toward your viewing position.
Tilt: The mount offers a tilt range of +5° to -15° to reduce glare and optimize viewing angles.
Post-Installation Leveling: Fine-tune the TV's level by adjusting the post-installation leveling screws, allowing for ±3° rotation.
Corner Installation: The full motion capability makes this mount suitable for corner installations, providing flexible viewing from various angles.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and safe operation of your PERLESMITH TV Mount, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure. Over time, vibrations or adjustments can cause them to loosen.
Cleaning: Dust the mount regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Movement Check: Test the tilt, swivel, and extension mechanisms (for PSXLF03) occasionally to ensure smooth operation. If any movement feels stiff, check for obstructions or consult the troubleshooting section.
Weight Limit: Never exceed the maximum weight capacity specified for each mount.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PERLESMITH TV Mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

TV is not level:
- For PSLTK1, ensure the wall plate was installed level. Minor adjustments can sometimes be made by slightly loosening and re-tightening the TV brackets.
- For PSXLF03, use the post-installation leveling feature (refer to Operating section) to adjust the TV's horizontal alignment.
Mount feels loose or unstable:
- Immediately remove the TV from the mount.
- Check all wall plate mounting bolts and TV bracket screws for tightness.
- Verify that the wall structure is sound and that appropriate anchors/studs were used.
- Ensure the TV's weight does not exceed the mount's capacity.
Movement (tilt, swivel, extension) is stiff:
- Check for any cables or obstructions hindering movement.
- Ensure all adjustment knobs or screws are not overtightened.
- The mount mechanisms are designed to be firm to hold the TV's position; apply gentle, steady force.
