4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the AMPACE P600 and all accessories from its packaging.
  2. Initial Charge: It is recommended to fully charge the power station before its first use. Connect the provided AC adapter to a wall outlet and the DC input port on the P600. The LCD display will indicate charging status.
  3. Placement: Place the power station on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area, ensuring that the intake and exhaust vents are not obstructed.

5. Charging the P600

5.1. AC Wall Charging

Connect the provided AC adapter to the DC 12V-30V input port on the P600 and then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The LCD screen will show the input wattage and charging progress.

5.2. Solar Charging

For off-grid charging, connect compatible solar panels (sold separately) to the DC 12V-30V input port. The P600 features a built-in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller to optimize solar charging efficiency, ensuring faster recharge times from solar energy.

5.3. Car Charging

Use the included car charging cable to recharge the P600 from your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter outlet. This method is ideal for charging while traveling.

5.4. Generator Charging

The power station can also be recharged using a generator. Connect the AC adapter to the P600's DC input port and then plug the adapter into an AC outlet on your generator.

6. Operating the P600

6.1. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the main power button for a few seconds to turn the unit on or off. The LCD display will illuminate upon activation.

6.2. Using AC Outlets

Press the dedicated AC button to activate the two pure sine wave AC outlets. These outlets can power resistive loads up to 600W continuously, with an A-Turbo peak power of 1800W for demanding appliances. Ensure your devices do not exceed the rated wattage.

6.3. Using DC Outlets

Press the DC button to activate the DC output ports, including the car outlet and the two DC 12V ports. These are suitable for powering 12V devices.

6.4. Using USB Ports

The P600 features one USB-C 60W port, two standard USB-A 12W ports, and two USB-A 18W Quick Charge ports. Simply plug your USB devices into the appropriate port for charging. The USB ports are typically active when the unit is on.

6.5. LED Light Function

Press the LED button located near the light bar to cycle through different lighting modes: low brightness, medium brightness, high brightness, flash mode, and SOS mode. Press again to turn off the light.

7. Special Features

7.1. Extended Battery Capability

The AMPACE P600 is designed to be expandable. An optional extended battery (sold separately) can be connected to the designated port to double the total capacity from 584Wh to 1168Wh, providing significantly longer runtime for your devices.

7.2. Car Jump Starter Function

In emergency situations, the P600 can act as a 0S car starter. When equipped with the Ampace jumper cable (sold separately), connect it to the 12V jump starter port to quickly start a dead car battery. This feature supports starting vehicles with up to 8.0L gas or 6.0L diesel engines.

8. Maintenance

  • Storage: Store the power station in a cool, dry place (0-40°C / 32-104°F) away from direct sunlight and corrosive materials.
  • Recharge Frequency: If not in regular use, recharge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain optimal battery health and prevent deep discharge.
  • Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the power station. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  • Ventilation: Regularly check that the intake and exhaust vents are clear of dust and debris to ensure proper cooling.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Unit Does Not Power On: Ensure the unit is sufficiently charged. If the battery is completely depleted, it may take a few minutes of charging before the display activates.
  • Output Port Not Working: Verify that the specific output function (AC or DC) is activated by pressing its respective button. Check if the connected device's power consumption exceeds the port's or the unit's maximum output.
  • Overload Protection: If the unit shuts down unexpectedly, it may be due to an overload. Disconnect the high-power device, restart the P600, and connect devices within its rated capacity.
  • Overheating: If the unit feels excessively hot, ensure the ventilation vents are clear. Allow the unit to cool down before resuming use.
  • Display Issues: If the display is not functioning correctly, try restarting the unit.
