Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your awning.
- Cleaning the Fabric: Clean the polyester fabric with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the UV and water-resistant coating. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before retracting.
- Frame Inspection: Periodically check all frame components, screws, and joints for tightness and signs of wear. Tighten any loose fasteners.
- Weather Protection: Always retract the awning during strong winds, heavy rain, or snow to prevent structural damage and fabric tearing.
- Winter Storage: In areas with harsh winters, it is advisable to keep the awning fully retracted and covered if possible, or consider removing the fabric for storage indoors.

Troubleshooting
Awning Arms Are Uneven:
- If the awning arms appear uneven after installation or use, they can be adjusted.
- First, ensure all screws at the joints are tight.
- On the lower arm, tighten the upper safety nut clockwise to lift the arm until it is level.
- If the arm still won't lift, loosen the lower safety nut counter-clockwise until the arms are level.
- After adjustment, test the awning's open/close function to ensure smooth movement.
