4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Remove all transport bolts from the rear of the machine before installation. Keep the transport bolts for future transport of the appliance.

4.2 Installation

  • Water Supply: Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4" thread. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  • Drainage: Position the drain hose into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fastened to prevent displacement during draining.
  • Electrical Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

4.3 Leveling

Use a spirit level to ensure the washing machine is perfectly level. Adjust the adjustable feet at the bottom of the appliance until it is stable and does not wobble. Proper leveling reduces noise and vibration during operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Loading Laundry

Open the washing machine door. Load laundry loosely into the drum, ensuring not to overload the machine. An 8 kg capacity is recommended for optimal performance. Close the door firmly.

  • Rinse: An extra rinse cycle.
  • Spin/Drain: To spin and drain water from laundry.

  • Drum Descale: A maintenance program for cleaning the drum.
  • Steam Cycle: For steam-assisted washing.

5.4 Adjusting Settings

After selecting a program, you can adjust additional settings using the touch buttons on the display:

  • Temperature Control: Adjust the wash temperature as needed.
  • Spin Speed: Select the desired spin speed (up to 1200 rpm).
  • Delay Start: Postpone the start of the wash cycle.
  • Reload Function: Pause the cycle to add or remove items.
  • Anti-Tangle: Minimizes tangles in laundry by up to 50%.
  • Anti-Wrinkle: Reduces creasing in garments.

Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the selected wash program. The display will show the remaining time.

5.6 Ending a Wash Cycle

Once the program is complete, the machine will signal with an audible alert (if enabled) and the display will indicate 'End'. Open the door and remove your laundry promptly to prevent creasing.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.

6.1 Cleaning the Drum

Use the 'Drum Descale' program periodically to clean the drum and remove any residue or odors. Follow the instructions for this specific program.

6.2 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser

Remove the detergent dispenser drawer and rinse it under running water to remove any detergent buildup. Clean the housing of the dispenser with a brush if necessary.

6.3 Cleaning the Filter

Locate the drain pump filter, usually at the bottom front of the machine. Place a shallow container underneath to catch any residual water. Unscrew the filter cover and carefully remove any lint or foreign objects. Clean the filter and screw it back securely.

6.4 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
