1. Important Safeguards

Please read all instructions carefully before using the iBELL MPK15M Multi-Purpose Kettle. Retain this manual for future reference.

• Do not immerse the main unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local power supply before connecting.
• Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Use the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Avoid filling above the maximum level indicator to prevent boiling water overflow.
• Do not use the appliance for purposes other than its intended use.

3. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Clean: Wash the main pot, inner pots, lid, and egg boiler tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not immerse the main unit (with electrical components) in water.
3. Placement: Place the main unit on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from water sources.
4. Connect Power: Insert the detachable power cord into the kettle's power inlet, then plug the other end into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 General Use

1. Ensure the kettle is clean and properly assembled.
2. Add the desired amount of water or ingredients to the main pot. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
3. Place the glass lid securely on the pot.
4. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
5. Turn the temperature control knob to the desired setting: 'I' for low heat/warming, 'II' for high heat/boiling. The indicator light will illuminate.
6. Once cooking is complete, turn the knob to 'OFF' and unplug the kettle.

4.2 Boiling Water

1. Fill the main pot with water, ensuring it is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks.
2. Place the lid.
3. Set the temperature control knob to 'II' (High).
4. The water will boil rapidly. Once boiling is complete, turn the knob to 'OFF' and unplug.

4.3 Cooking Noodles or Soup

1. Add water and desired ingredients (e.g., noodles, soup mix) to the main pot.
2. Place the lid.
3. Set the temperature control knob to 'I' (Low) for simmering or 'II' (High) for faster cooking. Adjust as needed.
4. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
5. Once cooked, turn the knob to 'OFF' and unplug.

4.4 Steaming

1. Pour approximately 2-3 cups of water into the main pot.
2. Place one of the inner pots inside the main pot.
3. Arrange food items (e.g., vegetables, momos) in the inner pot.
4. Cover with the glass lid.
5. Set the temperature control knob to 'II' (High) to generate steam.
6. Steam until food is cooked to desired tenderness. Turn to 'OFF' and unplug.

4.5 Egg Boiling

1. Pour a small amount of water (approx. 1 cup) into the main pot.
2. Place the egg boiler tray into the main pot.
3. Carefully place eggs into the designated slots on the tray.
4. Cover with the glass lid.
5. Set the temperature control knob to 'II' (High).
6. Boil for 7-10 minutes for soft to hard-boiled eggs, depending on preference. Turn to 'OFF' and unplug.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your kettle.

1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wash Removable Parts: The main pot, inner pots, lid, and egg boiler tray can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
3. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main unit in water.
4. Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the pot with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar (or a commercial descaling solution). Bring to a boil, then let it soak for 30 minutes to an hour. Empty and rinse thoroughly several times.
5. Storage: Store the clean and dry kettle in a cool, dry place.
